MFA Legal & Tech shortlisted for the Women in Business Law Awards 2026

We are delighted to announce that MFA Legal & Tech has been shortlisted for the Women in Business Law Awards 2026 in the Portugal Firm of the Year category!

This recognition extends to our Tax Partner, Joana Lobato Heitor, who has been nominated for the Individual Spotlight Awards as Practice Innovation Leader of the Year. Notably, Joana is the only Portuguese lawyer to be named a finalist in this category.

The 2026 shortlist honours the exceptional achievements of individual lawyers and the law firms that provided the best platforms and environments to support legal talent across EMEA region. The judging panel considered professional accomplishments in dealmaking and client advisory, advocacy and industry leadership, thought leadership, and policies that nurture and retain diverse talent.
